David Brault invited to NASA
Inno-3B’s VP of Engineering David Brault is one of thirty experts chosen by NASA to participate in a workshop at the Kennedy Space Center August 6th/7th 2019 in Florida. The goal is to get more insight about production in a closed environment, especially for installation in space or on the Moon.
“Very few experiments have been done so far to produce food in space. […] We were invited to attend the workshop to discuss the challenges and possible solutions, technological approaches to produce in space,” says David Brault, who holds a master’s degree in agricultural engineering from Laval University. This includes discussing climate control, the required workforce, automation management, and how to handle crop residues.
